Prospect Email Receiving

Prospect Email Receiving (PER) is an automated system that can receive emails, parse them for prospect information, and add them to your Tinsel CRM organization.

Set Up

When you register your organization, our system automatically generates a random email address that you can use via email forwarding or directly with third-parties. If for some reason you need to change the email address, you can generate a new one.

Email Forwarding

You can configure your email account to automatically forward prospect emails to your organization’s endpoint. Review the articles below if you need assistance configuring email forwarding for your email provider.

NOTE: You may want to use filtering (or rules) in conjunction with this so that only prospects from specific sources get forwarded to Tinsel CRM.

NOTE: Some email providers (Gmail) require that you verify the forwarding email address with a confirmation code before you can configure email forwarding. We have designed the PER system with support for parsing these confirmation code emails and displaying them as a notification in your Tinsel CRM account.

Third-Party Support

Many third-party websites offer the ability to send prospect inquiries via email. While you can use our endpoint as a direct recipient for these third-parties, we recommend that you use email forwarding to ensure that your prospect emails do not get lost.

The following websites have been tested by our team to ensure that the prospect information is correctly parsed by our system. If you encounter any issues or have any other website suggestions, please reach out to support@tinselcrm.com with a copy of the email.

Additional Fields

Additional Fields are visible at the bottom of the view that appears when you click on a prospect on the dashboard. If the prospect is accepted, these will be added as notes for the client.
