Proposal Templates

Anything with “##” is a placeholder that Tinsel automatically recognizes and replaces with the proper data. You can leave these in the templates and Tinsel will replace them automatically. Here is a list of placeholders currently available:

  • ##FIRST_NAME## ← This will be replaced with the first name of the primary contact. 
  • ##AMOUNT_PAID## ← This will be replaced with the amount already paid on the proposal at the time the email is sent. 
  • ##INVOICE_BALANCE## ← This will be replaced with the balance of the invoice at the time the email is sent. (not to be confused with the proposal balance)
  • ##PROPOSAL_BALANCE## ← This will be replaced with the balance of the total proposal at the time the email is sent. (not to be confused with invoice balance)


Additionally, anything that is highlighted should be replaced with information that is relevant to your company.


Multi Pricing Description

To meet the needs of all of our customers, CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY offers three options for pricing. We offer 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year contracts, with varying price ranges. The prices shown on this proposal are per-year prices.

It’s very simple: The longer the contract, the more you save!

If you should decide to back out of the contract before the contract is finished, you would owe 50% of the next year’s cost, as presented in this proposal, due immediately upon cancellation. We would never expect you to pay any more than that.


Terms & Conditions

Leasing Model

  1. Typical Project Invoicing
    • Upon acceptance of project – 50% of project total, due one week from invoice date or 48 hours prior to install, if less than one week prior to install.
    • Remaining project total – due before installation.
  2. Display Maintenance
    • If any lights stop working, minor maintenance is free of charge. Simply contact your representative and someone will be there to help ASAP. However, restrictions do apply:
      • CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY will only repair lights and decorations that were provided by, and installed by, CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY. No items installed or provided by the client will be the responsibility of CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY.
      • CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY will continue to service displays free of charge until December 24th. After that point, a maintenance charge will be incurred if service is requested.
  3. Removal and Storage
    • Removals begin on or around January 4th of each year and continue until necessary. If you require removal on a specific date, please tell your representative and arrangements may be made.

All materials provided by CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY are owned solely by CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY. At no time should the client assume ownership of materials used.

Sales Model

CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY reserves the rights to decline service on any materials not provided by CHRISTMAS LIGHT COMPANY for any reason, including but not limited to, safety and quality.
