Marking a Project as Completed

When you complete a project a few things happen. Here we will discuss how to complete a project, and what it actually does. 

When a Project is completed:

  1. The status is changed to “Completed”
  2. The project will no longer show up in the Project Glance

You can mark a project as Completed two ways:

  1. From the reviews tab
    • (This is the natural way to mark a project complete. This ensures everything is done properly). Do it this way when possible.
  2. By manually changing the status
    • This is possible but could cause strange errors if done incorrectly. 

To mark a project complete from the reviews tab:

  1. Navigate to the Project page one of two ways:
    1. From the “Projects” Page
      1. Navigate to the Projects Page in your navigation bar
      2. Select the project for which you want to complete.
    2. From the Client Page
      1. Navigate to the Clients Page in your navigation bar
      2. Select the client that owns the project for which you want to complete.
      3. Scroll down and select the Projects tab.
      4. Select the project for which you want to complete.
  2. Select the “Reviews” tab in the Pipeline (about halfway down the page).
    • NOTE: You must be in the “Review” stage in order to click on it. 
  3.  Click the “Complete Project button, .
  4. That’s it! You have now marked the project complete.

To mark a project complete by manually changing the “Status”: 

  1. Navigate to the Project page one of two ways:
    1. From the “Projects” Page
      1. Navigate to the Projects Page in your navigation bar
      2. Select the project for which you want to complete.
    2. From the Client Page
      1. Navigate to the Clients Page in your navigation bar
      2. Select the client that owns the project for which you want to complete.
      3. Scroll down and select the Projects tab.
      4. Select the project for which you want to complete.
  2. Locate the “General” Panel.
  3. Locate and change the “Status” drop-down to “Completed”. 
  4. That’s it! You have now marked the project complete.
